Flyways

North American Flyways

There are four migratory flyways in North America that are used by migrating waterfowl. You will note from DUC’s Canadian Conservation map that there are many co-relations between the DUC priority areas and the flyways that the ducks use to get to them. Through this knowledge and understanding, DUC can target conservation programs to habitats that are most important for waterfowl.
